Ephrata Cloister Post 429 Rentals

Our largest space includes a stage, bar, and area for buffet.  The room can be configured with round or rectangular tables depending on party size, need for a dance floor, etc.  Maximum capacity for seated guests, without a dance floor, is approximately 250. 

• Room set up includes tables and chairs to your specification
• Purchase of food, from the American Legion buffet menu, includes glassware, dishes, and silverware table set up (excluding decorations) plus Coffee & Hot Tea station
• All alcoholic beverages MUST BE supplied by the American Legion per the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board
• This is a non-smoking facility (including vape devices) with a smoking area located outside
• Confetti, glitter, rice, or similar decorations are prohibited.

Cost: 

• $250 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve a date
• $600 Total cost for a 4-hour rental block
• $150 per hour for each full hour above four hours
• $100 cleaning fee, which will be waived if the primary renter is a Cloister Post 429 Legionnaire, Auxiliarist, or Son
• $200 bartender fee for 4 hours and $50.00 for each additional hour
• Open Bar: Total bar bill plus 20% gratuity
• Cash Bar: Full bar open to guests with individual payment to the bartender
• Server Fee: 25% of the cost of the selected American Legion buffet package
• $100 to reserve the room the day before the event to set up decorations.  Decorating the day of the event is permitted after the room is staged at no additional cost
• Final payment of the bill balance, including food purchased from the American Legion, is due the day of the event

A medium sized space located in the downstairs area including a full bar area for a buffet and a small stage.  The room can be reconfigured depending on the party size, need for a dance floor, etc.  Maximum capacity for seated guests without a dance floor is approximately 100.

• Purchase of food, from the American Legion buffet menu, includes glassware, dishes, and silverware table set up, (excluding decorations) plus Coffee & Hot Tea station

A smaller space located in the rear of the dining room.  The area seats up to 40 people depending on desired table configuration and is perfect for meetings or private dinners for large groups.

• All alcoholic beverages MUST BE supplied by the American Legion per the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board
• This is a non-smoking facility (including vape devices) with a smoking area located outside
• Confetti, glitter, rice, or similar decorations are prohibited

Cost: 

• $100 Total cost for a 4-hour rental block
• $200 bartender fee for 4 hours and $50 for each additional hour if a bartender is needed outside normal operating hours, or you require a dedicated bartender during normal bar hours
• Open Bar: Total bar bill plus 20% gratuity
• Cash Bar: Full bar open to guests with individual payment to the bartender
• Server Fee: 25% of the cost of the selected American Legion buffet package
• Final payment of the bill balance, including food purchased from the American Legion, is due the day of the event.
